Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for the collection, processing and use of personal data obtained from Clients via the B2B platform operating at https://conteb2b.com (hereinafter referred to as the “B2B Platform”).

Personal data provided by Clients are processed in accordance with the scope of consent granted by the Clients and applicable legal regulations, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as the “GDPR”).

The company is entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register kept by the District Court for Łódź-Śródmieście in Łódź, 20th Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under KRS number 0000392995, hereinafter referred to as the “Controller”, who is also the Service Provider of the Online Store and the Seller.

The Controller exercises due diligence to protect the interests of data subjects and, in particular, ensures that personal data are:

  • processed lawfully,
  • collected for specified, legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner incompatible with those purposes,
  • factually correct and adequate in relation to the purposes for which they are processed,
  • stored in a form enabling identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary to achieve the purposes of processing.

Purpose of Data Processing

Personal data collected by the Controller are processed for the purpose of creating and maintaining a Client account, fulfilling orders placed via the B2B Platform www.conteb2b.com pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, as well as for direct communication pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, which constitutes the legitimate interest of the Company.

Where separate consent is given, personal data will also be processed for the purpose of receiving commercial information sent by the Controller to the provided e-mail address, pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR in conjunction with Article 10(1) of the Act on Providing Electronic Services.

The Controller may process the following personal data of Clients:

  • first and last name,
  • e-mail address,
  • contact telephone number,
  • delivery address (street, building number, apartment number, postal code, city, country),
  • residential/business/registered office address (if different from the delivery address).

In the case of Clients who are not consumers, the Controller may additionally process the company name and tax identification number (VAT ID).

Providing the above personal data may be necessary to conclude and perform a sales agreement or an agreement for the provision of electronic services on the B2B Platform operating at https://conteb2b.com.

Data Retention Period

Personal data are stored for the period during which the Client remains a registered user of the B2B Platform. After deregistration, the data will be stored for the period necessary to exercise any rights of the Seller arising from the concluded sales agreement, including the pursuit of claims.

If the B2B Platform is used without registration, personal data will be stored for the period necessary to exercise the Seller’s rights arising from the concluded sales agreement, including the pursuit of claims.

Data Recipients

If the Client uses postal or courier delivery services on the B2B Platform, the Controller provides the Client’s personal data to the selected carrier or intermediary responsible for delivery on behalf of the Controller.

If the Client uses electronic payment methods or payment cards, the Controller provides the Client’s personal data to the entity handling such payments.

The B2B Platform may also transfer personal data to service providers entrusted with data processing, such as IT service providers. Such entities process data based on agreements with the Controller and only in accordance with the Controller’s instructions.

In the event of an inspection, personal data may be disclosed to authorized supervisory authorities in accordance with applicable law.

Data Security

Personal data are stored on secure servers. Access to the data is granted only to selected authorized employees. The place and method of data storage ensure full data security.

Rights of Clients

Clients have the following rights related to the processing of personal data:

  • the right to withdraw consent at any time,
  • the right of access to personal data and to obtain a copy thereof,
  • the right to rectification of personal data,
  • the right to erasure of personal data,
  • the right to restriction of processing,
  • the right to object to processing due to a particular situation,
  • the right to data portability, i.e. to receive personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (applicable only to data processed on the basis of a contract or consent).

To exercise the above rights, the Client should contact the Controller using the contact details provided above. The Controller may request additional information to verify the identity of the requesting person.

Withdrawal of Consent

Where processing is based on consent, such consent may be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to its withdrawal. Consent may be withdrawn by sending a relevant statement to the postal address or e-mail address of the Controller.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

Clients have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for personal data protection, i.e. the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Poland).

Anonymous Data and Push Notifications

When using the B2B Platform, anonymous information such as IP address, domain name, browser type, device type and operating system may be automatically collected. These data are used for technical, administrative, security, statistical and marketing purposes.

The Platform reserves the right to send push notifications containing personalized commercial information, discount coupons and order status updates. Clients may disable push notifications at any time in the application settings.

Cookies Policy

The Store uses cookies, which are stored on the Client’s device and provide statistical data on activity in order to tailor the offer to individual preferences. Clients may disable cookies in their browser settings; however, this may affect certain functionalities of the B2B Platform.

Additional Information

If the B2B Platform contains links to external websites not administered by the Platform, it is not responsible for the content or privacy protection practices of such websites. Clients access such websites at their own risk and are encouraged to review their privacy policies.

The Store also collects anonymous statistical data related to website traffic solely for analytical purposes. Information on Google Analytics privacy policy is available at www.google.com.
